A camcorder battery’s use per charge is measured with the help of three ratings listed on the rechargeable battery: “W”
(wattage), “mAh” (milliampere-hour), and “V” (voltage). While the voltage may stay the same between your original camcorder
battery and your replacement camcorder battery, the wattage and milliampere-hour may be higher.
You will also notice that your camcorder battery is made of one of three types of materials: “Ni-Cad” (Nickel Cadmium), “NiMH”
(Nickel Metal Hydride), or “Li-Ion” (Lithium Ion). Each type of camcorder battery has advantages over the others, but all
